Editioning for Julia McKenzie

What could be more appropriate for our new studio
location surrounded by nature than an editioning
project with the extremely talented artist/printmaker
Julia McKenzie. This enormous screen print was hand
finished by Julia in her London studio in preparation
for her Artist Open House in May.

Somerset House 'Photo London 2018'

More Print Block editioning work on display in London
this month, this time on the walls of Somerset House
part of 'Photo London 2018'. Two large collaborative
works by the brilliant Julie Cockburn 'It's Complicated
6' and 'Nirvana 1' both unique screen prints on giclee
prints of found photographs. Julie's work was represented
by Flowers Gallery London.

Editioning for Mychael Barratt

In recent weeks the Print Block has been busy editioning
some new work for the very talented London based artist/
printmaker Mychael Barratt. 'Hockney's Dogs-Spring' is
a 12 colour screen print using hand drawn stencils.
'Bigger Splash' featuring another of Hockney's dogs shows
the last pull on the final print Suki ever printed at our
old studio so a historic moment for us all.
This month both 'Spring' and 'Hokusai's Dog' were shown
at the Royal Academy of Arts 'London Original Print Fair'.

The Print Blocks New Home

After a long week of hard work the Print Block is
finally settling in to its beautiful brand new studio
at Monkshill Farm, Faversham. Still lots to do,
benches to build and floors to paint but we are nearly
there and printing is already under way. The views are
big, green and expansive making for the most inspiring
tea breaks!

Editioning for Julie Cockburn

Editioned by Suki, Julie Cockburn's
beautiful new screen print 'Nirvana 2'
was on show at The London Print Fair
this year with Flowers Gallery held
at The Royal Academy of Arts London.

Wedding Workshop

It's not often we have a bride screen printing on her
wedding day or a groom for that matter! The lovely
Rainna & Will asked us to run a screen printing
activity on Saturday for their wedding guests to print
a personalised keepsake of their memorable day. Fearless
and without their aprons guests juggled their champagne
glasses and inky squeegees to print for the first time. Congratulations and thank you for introducing us to a new
and novel printing experience we both had a great time!
